Term One Report Cards will be going home with your child beginning today. As part of the current withdrawal of services by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (ETFO), your child’s teacher has provided me with the letter or numerical grade indicating your child’s progress in term one. Kindergarten Teachers have provided a one sentence comment for each of the four frames.
Our teachers are highly qualified and skilled professional educators and continue to provide the highest quality education possible in the classroom. The Provincial Report Card for Term One is just one of many ways teachers communicate with parents about the learning progress of your child(ren).
Please be sure to reach out to your child’s teachers with any questions, comments or concerns you may have regarding your child’s learning journey so far this school year. We will be conducting Reporting Interviews on Thursday, February 20 from 1pm-3pm, as scheduled and students will be dismissed at 12 noon.
Parents are invited to speak directly with your child’s teachers to arrange a conversation or meeting time.
